Public health informatics
is an application area of informatics. The goal is for public health informatics
to contribute to public health, population health in general, disease prevention,
and health promotion.
Courses relevant the public health informatics track are described as part of the Medical Informatics Curriculum. Courses that must be taken by all students in a track are marked as required, while optional courses are marked as elective. Other public health informatics courses are proposed for future development. For more information, contact Dr. Rita Kukafka |
