WebCIS
WebCIS is a World Wide Web-based clinical information system. It is built
upon the architecture designed by the Columbia University Department of
Medical Informatics for use at New York Presbyterian Healthcare. It is
based on a centralized patient repository, a clinical vocabulary (the Medical
Entities Dictionary) to define all terms stored in the repository, and
a clinical event monitor. (Alternate view.)
WebCIS is shown in the following series of panels.
