Singing

I love to sing. Unfortunately, I have, as the saying goes, more enthusiasm than talent, when it comes to singing.

Nevertheless, over the years, a large number of singing groups have seen fit to allow me to join them.

Currently, I run a small singing get-together once/month at my apartment. It is called nyc_psinging, since the idea of the group is based on a Boston group which is called psinging. We have a yahoo groups mailing list, and I am hoping to accumulate more and more singers. The only rule of the group is that you must not insult anyone else's singing -- the goal is to sing for the fun of it, rather then to perfect our singing to performance caliber. In the past, I have been affiliated with:

• 2002-3: SLGC, a Seattle area chorus
• 1994-present: psinging, a Boston area community singing group
• 1991-2: Mather House Singers, a short-lived group associated with our residence.
• 1989-90: Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus
• 1986-89: National Cathedral School Glee Club
