China - 2005

Off to China again. No pictures, since my camera was stolen in Xian, although I may receive some from the other members of the tour group.

I spent my first day exploring Beijing on my own, wandering through a hutong and then through the Temple of Heaven park, before joining a tour group.

We spent a few days in Beijing (Great Wall, Forbiddon City, Tiennamen Square), then moved on to Xian (Terracotta Warriors, Great Mosque, Wild Goose Pagoda) and then to Shanghai (all modern, all the time). I also took some day trips to ZhouZhaung and HangZhou.
